Request Account & Data Deletion
We respect your privacy. You can permanently delete your Rainbow Lanes account and associated personal data at any time.
How to submit a deletion request
- Email support@rainbowlanes.ca from the email address linked to your account.
- Use the subject: Data Deletion Request and include your full name and any recent booking details (helps us verify your identity).
- We’ll reply with a confirmation link or follow-up questions if we need more information to protect your account.
What will be deleted
- Your account and sign-in credentials
- Your profile details (name, email, phone)
- League registrations and team memberships that are not required for legal or accounting purposes
- Session data and app preferences
What we may retain
- Transaction and payment records required by law (e.g., receipts, refunds). Where possible, we pseudonymize or anonymize these records.
- System backups for a limited period (typically up to 30 days) after which data is purged on our normal rotation.
Timing
We aim to complete verified requests within 7 days and no later than 30 days. You’ll receive a final confirmation once deletion is complete.
Bookings and leagues
If you have upcoming reservations or active league participation, please cancel those first or mention them in your email. We’ll help you complete any necessary steps before deletion.
